Gratitude

Thanksgiving is 28 days away. This is one of my favorite holidays. It’s all about sitting back, relaxing, and eating good food with good people. In 2000, I invited my parents to Thanksgiving in my first house, a small condo in Alexandria. It was a modest feast – turkey casserole and a couple of side dishes sitting around my kitchen table. But we had a good time. I’ve been hosting Thanksgiving dinners off and on ever since, and I love it.

So to celebrate Thanksgiving this month, I’m inviting everyone to a Facebook event: 28 Days of Gratitude. If you aren’t on Facebook, that’s ok. Just post your gratitude here in the comments of this post! Let’s spend the next four week focusing on our blessings.
