Accountability usually makes people grimace. We sort of automatically think of it as deliberately asking someone else to give us a guilt trip.
But what if we chose a different vision? What if we chose someone who loves us and wants us to succeed? And what if that person was able to hold us accountable for our goals without giving guilt? Wouldn’t that be great?
As a life coach, that’s my goal. I hold people accountable, but I don’t abuse or heap guilt. I understand that change is difficult, that life happens, and most of all, that sometimes we have to fail a lot before we succeed.
This week my blog posts will be about accountability partners, how to choose one and how to be one. Finding the right partner is often the key to making fantastic life changes.
