How do you organize your priorities? Priorities are the key to a life with balance and grace.

One of the reasons we don’t live according to our priorities is because they are too vague. We all say we prioritize our families, our relationships, our careers, but those categories are too broad to be priorities. They are values. I value my family. I prioritize eating dinner together as a specific expression of that value.

When we make our priorities explicit and specific, it becomes so much easier to live according to them. Boundaries are set around those specific tasks. We have clarity on when to say yes and when to say no, because we have openly committed to specific ideas and tasks.

How can you take your vague values and turn them into specific calls to action?
