“How you do anything is how you do everything,” Kaylee Masury. What does this mean? It means that you can gain self-knowledge by examining your life at a micro scale. By looking at how you treat the small situations of life you can learn about how you handle the large situations. This can be very helpful as we approach the season of feasting and resolutions.
How do you deal with your clean laundry? Do you fold it meticulously and put it away immediately? Do you leave it in nice clean heaps in laundry baskets? Do you fold it in fits and starts? I fold it fairly meticulously, but putting it away happens in fits and starts. I find this pattern repeated in other areas of my life: I tend to details with great attention, but overall projects are dealt with on a choppy timeline: hours of dedicated work are followed by days of neglect. When I write a story, I spend hours crafting a sentence, or editing, but the overall story might or might not be finished in one session.
What patterns do you see in your life? Are you happy with them, or do you want to make changes? As a life coach, I can help you identify those patterns and successfully make adjustments.
